Brett Morgan is a tattoo artist and storyteller working out of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. His chair has held grandfathers, people regaining their confidence, mothers, widowers, kids on their eighteenth birthday, and a few people who've never told anyone the real reason they wanted the tattoo. Storied Lines is the place where those reasons finally get said.

Storied Lines are real, permanent tattoos done by Brett Morgan — paired with a recorded conversation about the story behind the ink. Every appointment is part tattoo session, part confession booth. You walk in with a reason and walk out with both the artwork and a chapter that's finally been said out loud.
Nope. The podcast is opt-in. You can book a Story Session if you want it recorded, or a Private Session if you just want the tattoo. No pressure either way — Brett asks before any mic gets turned on.
A little. Most people will tell you it's totally tolerable, especially once the conversation gets going. Some spots on the body sting more than others, but Brett works at a slow, steady pace and you can tap out for water, breaks, or breath whenever you need to.
Brett works in fine line, single needle, traditional black & grey, and small color pieces. Sessions usually run 2–5 hours depending on the piece. If you're not sure your idea fits, just book a Consultation — that's literally what they're for.
Rarely. Storied Lines is one chair, one client at a time, by appointment. If you walk in, you'll be witnessed at the door — but you probably won't be seated that day.
Yes. Free touch-ups within the first year on any tattoo Brett did, no questions asked. Just hit Book and pick the Touch-Up option, or text the studio.
One person, sure — moms, partners, best friends, sponsors. The studio is a small, intentional room, so we ask that anyone you bring respects the quiet. No kids unattended, and no one drinking on the property.
When you book a Story Session, there's a checkbox letting Brett know you're open to being featured. He'll reach out personally before anything is recorded or aired. You always own your story — nothing goes live without your sign-off.
